At The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company, leadership is driven by the belief that true transformation begins with inclusivity, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to systemic change. Here, I implemented a radical shift in decision-making by adopting a consensus-driven model, empowering every voice across the organization to have equal weight in shaping our collective vision. This approach doesn’t just challenge traditional hierarchies; it dissolves them, creating a foundation for creativity, trust, and bold innovation. Together, we’ve designed programs that amplify the voices of underserved communities, including a tuition-free, four-year performing arts conservatory program that provides over 3,500 participants annually with the tools to rewrite their own narratives.

My work with Antigravity Academy further reflects my dedication to building platforms where unearthed talent is nurtured into creative excellence. As a Founding Partner and Head of the Artist Incubator, I lead the flagship Screenwriters’ Camp, mentoring first-time filmmakers in developing and packaging feature projects while connecting them with industry mentors like Oscar-nominated creatives. This mission is focused on bridging equity gaps and creating a space where diverse stories take center stage. The joy of seeing participants secure opportunities and bring their visions to life has been a testament to the power of purposeful mentoring and collaboration.

Throughout my career—with organizations like Sundance Institute, where I connected global storytelling communities, Miami Music Project, where I expanded outreach to thousands of participants, Harmony Project, where I fostered youth empowerment through music, and L.A. Works, where I helped empower community engagement—I’ve been guided by one principle above all else. Leadership is not about control; it’s about creating space for others to rise. By cultivating ecosystems where voices converge and creativity thrives, I have dedicated my work to reimagining systems that ignite collective impact—not just within organizations but across the communities they serve. My purpose has always been to inspire, empower, and design pathways to equity through the power of storytelling, collaboration, and audacious vision.
